This project consisted of a full bathroom renovation, constructed to design specifications.
The project started with a full strip-out all of the exisiting bathroom materials and features, taking the bathroom all the way back to the studs and original substrate. Once the bathroom was stripped, the Protect & Seal plumbing and electrical team were on site to do the rough-out. The bathroom was then sheeted and all areas were treated to the Protect & Seal waterproofing service.
The Protect & Seal tiling team came in and screeded the floor and began the tiling process for the floor and walls. We used 600mm x 600mm speciality porcelain tiles that are long lasting and have an exquisite look.
Our plumbing team was then back on site with the project manager to do the full fit out of the vanity, taps, shower head, shower screen, toilet and other bathroom accessories.
The walk in shower shower was to be a feature element of the bathroom and for this we used a 1m x 2m glass panel for the shower screen and a rain type shower head on a rail with a hand held option.
The end result was a magnificent bathroom that is now a feature of the home with the added bonus an increase in value for the property itself.
