Upon inspection of this second storey shower, the water was leaking to the kitchen below. After removal of the tiles we found that there was extensive damage to the timbers and surrounding studs and substrate.
The Protect & Seal team then ripped up all the tiles and removed all the of rotted timbers and substrate and replaced it with new timbers and fibre cement sheeting.
After this process, we then did the Protect & Seal waterproof service and prepared it for the tiling stage. Once the tiling was complete, we installed a new semi frameless shower screen which completed the project.
